I think I will bring the test we took at the beginning of your presentation to my school & have my teachers take it! I learned more about myself taking that test 🙂
I really enjoyed the conversation of safe classroom community!
I learned that while I do not have a preference between light and dark skin tones, I still have a lot to learn about culturally responsive teaching.
I look forward to looking into advocating for students at the local, state, and national level.
I thought that your website was very informative, especially for teachers who may struggle with certain topics you covered. I am looking forward to looking at more of the implicit bias tests in order to determine my biases and reflect on how that effects my teaching.
I loved all of your links! Book lists, resources for teachers! Way to go! I would love to share with others!!
I enjoyed learning about all the different resources that are available to teachers. I especially liked the resources to advocate for students. We don’t always think about how important that is. You all did an amazing job!
The implicit bias tests are helpful because I know I am biased that I may not even know I have.
The bias test was great, I’ve never taken one. Thank you for showing the resources that I can easily take back to the classroom. Great presentation, very informative!
